Top 5 Travel Destinations with Hummba Audio Guides

US-based travel magazine Travel + Leisure recently released their annual World’s Best Awards, and some of our favourite travel destinations made the cut. Bangkok:
Bangkok came in first on the list, narrowly defending its title from last year. Krung Thep, as it’s known to locals, is a popular tourist destination for travellers looking to experience Southeast Asia at a bargain. Cape Town claims the Travellers’ Choice Awards top spot

Cape Town has been named the best holiday destination in the world by US-based travel website TripAdvisor. The site released its Travellers’ Choice Awards for the year earlier this week and the Mother City managed to beat the likes of Sydney, Paris and Rio de Janiero to claim the top spot.

Visit the Cape Winelands this holiday season.

It’s no secret that South African wines are held in high regard all over the world. The majority of the country’s vineyards are however only found in the Western Cape Province. Grapes flourish in the region’s mild Mediterranean climate, and this can be seen by the fact that there are some 560 wineries in the Cape region. Wine tourism has become one of South Africa’s fastest-growing industries, and thousands of people visit the Cape’s numerous wine routes every year. There are several well known wine routes within the city of Cape Town, and the Constantia Wine Route is arguably one of the most popular. The route is classified as one of the city’s Big Six tourist destinations and features the oldest wine farm in the country, Groot Constantia. Boasting the first five-star hotel in the country, Spier is one of the most luxurious tourist attractions in South Africa. Oude Libertas and the Delheim Wine Estate can also be found on this route.

A visit to the Franschoek Wine Route should also be included on the itinerary of every traveller to the Cape. A scenic drive along the Helshoogte Pass, with a visit to the Boschendal and La Motte wine estates, is the perfect way to spend any afternoon.
